Intellectual Property Associate Attorney

A law firm based in Cleveland is currently seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney. The candidate will responsible for patent preparation and prosecution, patent licensing, performing patentability and clearance opinions, portfolio management, and conducting due diligence.

The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical, oral, and written communication skills and excel in a collaborative team environment.

Duties:

• Conduct patent preparation and prosecution activities.
• Facilitate patent licensing agreements.
• Perform patentability and clearance opinions.
• Manage intellectual property portfolios.
• Conduct thorough due diligence investigations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Demonstrated excellent academic credentials.

Experience:       

Minimum of 2 years of experience in intellectual property law.
