Senior Family Law Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney to join their team in Los Gatos, California. The Senior Family Law Attorney will take the lead in representing clients in complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support disputes, and premarital agreements. They will conduct in-depth legal research, draft a wide range of legal documents, manage a caseload with efficiency, maintain communication with clients, lead negotiations for settlements, and provide mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff.

Duties:

• Take the lead in representing clients in complex family law matters
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft various legal documents
• Oversee and manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely advancement and client updates
• Establish and maintain communication with clients, offering updates and legal advice
• Lead negotiations to secure settlements and agreements aligned with clients' needs
• Provide mentorship and support to junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience practicing family law
• Membership in the State Bar of California and in good standing

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

State Bar of California membership
