Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior-level Corporate and Securities Associate to join their team in New York. The ideal candidate will have significant experience advising companies on various capital market transactions, including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), secondary offerings, private placements, bond issuances, and securitizations.

Duties

• Advise companies on capital market transactions.
• Conduct legal research and draft documents.
• Collaborate with team members on complex cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant experience in capital market transactions.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Although more commonly thought of as a Washington, DC, firm, this New York office has many of the same practice areas.
