Job Overview: The Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in the law firm's patent practice, focusing on drafting and prosecuting intricate patent applications that align with clients' global patent and intellectual property (IP) strategies. Duties:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications that are closely aligned with clients' global patent and IP strategies.
• Conduct freedom-to-operate and landscape analysis to provide strategic insights to clients.
• Prepare patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions to support client decision-making.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of patent experience.
• Technical background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Admission to the Michigan Bar and registration with the U.S. Patent Bar.
• Excellent academic credentials are required, showcasing a commitment to excellence in the legal field.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Bachelors or advanced degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Michigan Bar.
