Commercial Real Estate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney for their Wakefield, MA office. The attorney will serve in the practice areas of real estate development and permitting, commercial real estate lending and conveyancing, commercial leasing, and real estate litigation. Some portable billings are preferred.

Duties:

• Handle legal matters related to real estate development and permitting
• Manage commercial real estate lending and conveyancing transactions
• Negotiate and draft commercial leasing agreements
• Represent clients in real estate litigation matters
• Provide legal counsel on zoning and land use issues

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate law
• Portable billings preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar

Skills:

• Proficiency in handling real estate development, commercial lending, and leasing matters
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated experience in real estate litigation
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
