Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney admitted to the California Bar with preference for experience in labor and employment litigation, particularly wage and hour matters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent legal research and writing skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Duties:

• Handle labor and employment litigation matters, with a focus on wage and hour issues.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and assist in case management.
• Conduct legal analysis and provide advice on labor and employment law issues.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.

Requirements:

• Admitted to the California Bar.
• 2+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal setting.
• Preference for experience in labor and employment litigation, particularly wage and hour matters.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
