Job Details:

  • Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth.
  • Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents to ensure compliance with legal standards and client objectives.
  • Provide legal counsel on complex financial transactions, offering insights and expertise to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business goals and tailor legal strategies accordingly.
  • Stay abreast of relevant legal developments and industry trends to provide informed advice and maintain a competitive edge.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in private equity debt finance, with a focus on leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
  • Relevant Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) is required.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
