The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in various financial transactions, including leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth initiatives. The successful candidate should possess exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, outstanding academic credentials, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Details:

• Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth.
• Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents to ensure compliance with legal standards and client objectives.
• Provide legal counsel on complex financial transactions, offering insights and expertise to clients.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business goals and tailor legal strategies accordingly.
• Stay abreast of relevant legal developments and industry trends to provide informed advice and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in private equity debt finance, with a focus on leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings.
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
• Relevant Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) is required.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
