Duties

• Manage consumer litigation cases involving automotive and warranty issues

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including:

  • Case intake and evaluation

  • Legal research and writing

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery

  • Taking and defending depositions

  • Negotiating settlements

  • Trial preparation and courtroom appearances

• Ensure compliance with Texas state court procedures

• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

• Collaborate with remote legal team members and administrative staff

Requirements

• 2–4 years of litigation experience

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Texas (required)

• Familiarity with Texas state court litigation procedures

• Strong organizational and case management skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

• Admission to federal courts and/or other state bars is a plus

• Excellent legal writing and research abilities

• Strong verbal communication and client interaction skills

• Proficiency in managing litigation timelines and documents
