A leading law firm is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Senior Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its Corporate Transactions, Capital Markets, and M&A team. The ideal candidate will have M&A experience, exceptional academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and relevant transactional experience. Location:

Duties:

• Lead and manage corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets transactions, and other corporate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements and legal documents.
• Advise clients on strategic corporate governance issues and business transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide counsel to clients.
• Manage and mentor junior associates, offering guidance and support in day-to-day tasks.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and market trends.
• Maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional legal service and communication.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in corporate transactions, including M&A and capital markets.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating M&A agreements and corporate governance matters.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, partners, and colleagues.
• Ability to manage complex legal matters while adhering to deadlines and client needs.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in the relevant state (Georgia preferred).

The sizable Georgia based law office is ideally located in Midtown. The law practice takes up ten floors. There are more than four-hundred professional attorneys staffed at the legal practice. They represent clients in all of the firm's practice areas. Some of the disciplines consist of corporate-finance, intellectual property, litigation, and legislative-public policy.
