Job Title: Mid-Level Associate Attorney - Litigation

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a mid-level litigation associate with a solid foundation in legal writing and extensive experience managing Daubert and Rule 702-related matters. This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in complex litigation environments, particularly within the pharmaceutical or medical device sectors. The role combines strategic development, expert coordination, and case management in a collaborative and hybrid setting.

Duties:

• Draft and refine legal briefs, motions, memoranda, and discovery responses

• Develop and implement litigation strategies in coordination with senior attorneys

• Manage communications with clients and external stakeholders

• Supervise junior legal staff and associates

• Coordinate with subject matter experts for case development

• Conduct factual investigations and assist in taking and defending depositions

• Prepare for and support all stages of litigation, particularly in Daubert / Rule 702 motion practice

• Review and analyze legal documents related to product liability matters

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably from a national or large regional firm

• Proven track record with Daubert motions and Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence

• Prior exposure to pharmaceutical and/or medical device litigation preferred

• Admitted to practice law in Delaware

• Strong command of complex litigation procedures and deadlines

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Demonstrated academic excellence

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in Delaware

• Admission in additional jurisdictions (e.g., New York) is a plus
