A law firm in Palm Beach is seeking a Corporate/M&A/Securities/Finance Transactional Attorney with at least 6 years of experience in corporate, M&A, securities, and/or finance transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills. Applicable Bar admission is required for the jurisdiction in which the candidate is interested.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of corporate, M&A, securities, and finance transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, and financing documents.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on corporate governance matters.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and analysis for transactions.
  • Assist clients with regulatory compliance and filings.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on transactional matters.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and meetings with opposing parties.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting corporate transactions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience with corporate, M&A, securities, and/or finance transactions.
  • Applicable Bar admission required for the jurisdiction in which the candidate is interested.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Applicable Bar admission for the jurisdiction of interest.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transactional documents.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
