Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Miami is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its growing practice group. The firm is committed to providing attorneys with an opportunity to grow and expand their legal expertise in the field of First Party Property law, with exposure to general liability and third-party practices. The position offers a dynamic work environment where associates gain invaluable hands-on experience that would typically take years to acquire in larger firms.

Duties:

• Manage cases from inception to resolution
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
• Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
• Communicate with clients and insurance carriers regarding case updates and status
• Prioritize tasks based on deadlines and case urgency
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and office staff on case strategies
• Maintain detailed and organized case files
• Provide timely legal reports and documentation as required

Requirements:

• Must be a Juris Doctor (JD) and currently licensed to practice in Florida (admitted to FL Bar)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and internal teams
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with ProLaw and NetDocs is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida
