A law firm in Anchorage is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of trademark experience. Assist in trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Handle TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings. Demonstrate superior writing and communication skills. Utilize foreign language skills when applicable.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct trademark searches and analysis.
  • Develop and execute global trademark strategies.
  • Manage domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement matters.
  • Handle TTAB proceedings and UDRP proceedings.
  • Conduct online and social media enforcement activities.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on trademark matters.
  • Draft legal documents including trademark applications, office action responses, and cease and desist letters.
  • Assist with trademark litigation matters as needed.
  • Stay current on trademark laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar.
  • 2-5 years of trademark experience.
  • Experience with trademark searching, prosecution, and enforcement.
  • Knowledge of TTAB proceedings and UDRP proceedings is a plus.
  • Superior writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Foreign language skills are highly valued.
