Location:

• Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Represent clients in workers’ compensation defense cases

• Manage litigation from file assignment through resolution

• Prepare and respond to legal documents and discovery

• Conduct legal research and analysis

• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as needed

• Utilize web-based legal systems in a paperless environment

• Maintain professional client communications

• Collaborate with internal staff and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• 1 year of workers’ compensation defense experience (preferred)

• Knowledge of the Defense Base Act and Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (a plus)

• Strong time management and organizational capabilities

• Ability to function effectively in a digital work environment

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications:

• Active Member in Good Standing with the State Bar of California
