Consumer Financial Services Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, is actively seeking a highly skilled Consumer Financial Services Attorney with a focus on state and federal court litigation. Duties:

• Handle state and federal court litigation cases, specifically in retail bank litigation, including UCC, EFTA, and garnishments.
• Manage litigation cases related to auto finance, credit card, and mortgage litigation.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with legal teams to develop and implement litigation strategies.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in state and federal court litigation.
