Patent Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in patent litigation. The successful candidate will be an integral part of patent litigation teams, collaborating with attorneys across the firm to provide legal counsel to companies at various stages of development.

Duties:

• Handle patent litigation matters independently and as part of a team.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to patent laws and regulations.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in case management, including document review and preparation for hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop litigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in patent litigation.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or other life sciences.
• Hatch-Waxman/ANDA litigation experience preferred.
• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility for admission.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or other life sciences.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar or eligibility for admission.
