This role involves managing a caseload of personal injury matters, handling negotiations, supervising support staff, and overseeing client communications throughout the pre-suit process. Duties:

  • Oversee and manage a full caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters

  • Directly handle negotiations with insurance carriers to achieve favorable settlements

  • Supervise and guide a full-time legal assistant assigned to your cases

  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients

  • Open case files, establish client rapport, and ensure ongoing client engagement

  • Conduct fact-finding investigations and manage case documentation in internal systems

  • Confirm insurance coverage and liability information through direct insurer communication

  • Monitor client treatment progress and liaise with medical professionals

  • Schedule and coordinate medical appointments for clients as needed

  • Review and interpret medical records in preparation for settlement demands

  • Organize case files for demand drafting and ensure data integrity across platforms

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Florida, in good standing

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to provide empathetic support to clients undergoing medical or legal stress

  • High personal integrity and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude toward work

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with attention to legal and factual detail

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:
