Tax Lawyer

A law firm in Houston is seeking an experienced Tax Lawyer specializing in ERISA/Employee Benefits. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials, self-motivation, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on tax-related matters with a focus on ERISA/Employee Benefits.
• Advise clients on executive compensation issues and compliance.
• Conduct legal research on tax laws, regulations, and ERISA requirements.
• Draft and review legal documents, including employee benefit plans and executive compensation agreements.
• Assist clients in navigating complex tax implications related to employee benefits.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax-employee benefits and executive compensation.
• Strong academic credentials with a law degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven expertise in ERISA and employee benefits law.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior legal professionals.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
