A law firm in Walnut Creek, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing caseloads, attending hearings, providing support to senior attorneys, and collaborating with the legal team. The role requires excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as an understanding of workers' compensation law and experience in litigation.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed with attention to detail
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Provide support to senior attorneys as needed
• Collaborate with the legal team on case strategy and development

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
