A U.S.-based law firm is seeking a seasoned Business Immigration Attorney with a minimum of 4–5 years of experience to join its legal team. This role involves handling a range of employment-based immigration matters, with a focus on H-2B visas and National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions. The position requires strong legal drafting and client advisory skills, as well as a commitment to process improvement and legal innovation.

Duties

  • Manage a broad portfolio of business immigration cases

  • Prepare and file applications and petitions with USCIS, DOL, and other agencies

  • Draft legal documents including support letters, forms, briefs, and responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs)

  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

  • Analyze client eligibility and advise on best immigration options

  • Maintain regular communication with corporate clients and beneficiaries

  • Monitor changes in immigration law and inform internal teams of relevant updates

  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve legal workflows and system efficiencies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in U.S. business immigration law

  • Proficiency in preparing H-2B and NIW petitions strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to manage complex legal caseloads and deadlines

  • Familiarity with USCIS and DOL procedures

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (New Jersey preferred)

  • Member in good standing with relevant state bar

Skills

  • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
