Associate Attorney needed for Jupiter office

A law firm in Jupiter is seeking an Associate Attorney to assist with litigation cases. The candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents, assisting with the discovery process, performing legal research, negotiating settlements, making court appearances, and conducting initial consultations with potential clients.

Duties:

• Assist with drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
• Aid in the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, and reviewing documents.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Perform comprehensive legal research.
• Make court appearances as necessary.
• Conduct initial consultations with potential clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in Florida.
• 0-3 years of litigating experience, preferably focused on commercial litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
