Family Law Associate Attorney

Columbia office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a family law associate attorney with 1 year of family law experience. The candidate will manage family law, estate planning, probate, and estate litigation cases. Will assist with other cases as needed. Prepare and draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, financial statements, and other documents. Taking depositions and affidavits of clients and witnesses. Conduct and analyze legal research. Able to manage timelines and readily adapt to changes. Able to manage client expectations and demands. Able to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Must have 1 year of litigation experience. Estate planning, probate, and estate litigation experience a plus. Admission to Maryland Bar is required. Admission to DC Bar is a plus. Must have experience with Microsoft applications suite. Should have experience with case management software (Clio).

The candidate should have excellent communication skills. Must have good writing and editing skills. Good organizational skills are needed. Able to manage multiple caseloads required.
