Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney with over five years of litigation experience to join their team in Irvine, CA. The role involves handling general liability, product liability, premises liability, and catastrophic injury cases, with collaboration alongside the Aviation practice group.

Duties

  • Manage a caseload of 10-20 matters.
  • Investigate claims and develop case strategies.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests.
  • Review and analyze documents for production.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Draft and submit pleadings and motions.
  • Attend hearings and argue motions.
  • Prepare pre-trial and trial documents.
  • Prepare cases for mediation/trial and participate in mediation/trial.
  • Report effectively to clients.

Requirements

  • Admission to the bar in California.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of litigation.
  • Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
  • Effective oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Education
