Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for their Irvine, CA office. The role requires commuting to Los Angeles, the surrounding counties, and occasionally to central and northern California for court appearances and depositions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain litigation and trial experience.

Duties

• Draft Case Management Orders and attend court appearances.
• Organize and analyze case information, providing reports to carriers.
• Propound and respond to written discovery and draft law and motion documents.
• Meet and coordinate with clients and experts, and attend site inspections.
• Take and defend depositions, including experts, and prepare for all trial phases.
• Opportunity for first and second-chair trial experience.

Requirements

• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• Prior insurance defense experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and research skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
