Job Overview

A law firm seeks a senior counsel attorney with over eight years of experience in toxic tort and/or product liability, based in California. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the relevant practice areas and be licensed to practice in California.

Duties

• Manage cases and conduct discovery.
• Prepare and argue motions.
• Prepare cases for trial.
• Lead depositions and collaborate with experts.
• Supervise and mentor associates.
• Make in-person appearances as needed.

Requirements

• Admitted to the State Bar of California.
• Reside in California.
• 8+ years of experience in civil litigation defense, including toxic tort or product liability.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Trial experience is a plus.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar of California.
