Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Healthcare Reimbursement Attorney in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience advising on healthcare billing and reimbursement, including Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/Tricare, and be knowledgeable in federal fraud and abuse laws.

Duties

  • Advise healthcare entities on billing and reimbursement processes.

  • Assist in structuring business relationships to ensure legal compliance.
  • Provide counsel on enrollment and claims submission processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare billing and reimbursement.
  • Proficiency in federal fraud and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law.
  • Experience with private payors is advantageous.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant state.
