Mid-level Structured Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago is seeking a Mid-level Structured Finance Associate Attorney with a strong background in structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar finance structures. The ideal candidate should possess substantial deal experience, particularly across a variety of asset types and structures. Admission to the State Bar is a prerequisite for this role.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to structured finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, including loan agreements, securitization documents, and other finance-related contracts.
• Provide legal counsel and support to clients on structured finance matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop and implement legal strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the State Bar with a license in good standing.
• Should have some years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on structured finance or related fields.
• Proven track record of handling structured finance transactions across various asset types.

Education:

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.
