Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate with 3-5 years of corporate law experience to join the Business Practice Group in Portland, Maine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions and additional experience in general representation of business entities.

Duties

• Assist in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Provide general representation for corporate, partnership, and LLC entities.
• Support the formation and structuring of business entities.
• Engage in finance and private equity transactions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of corporate law experience.
• Strong background in mergers and acquisitions.
• Experience with business entity representation preferred.
• Knowledge of securities law is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Maine.
