Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level corporate associate to join the capital markets and securities practice in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in public and private debt and equity offerings, as well as advising on governance matters.

Duties

• Work on public and private debt and equity offerings.
• Advise clients on Securities Exchange Act of 1934 reporting.
• Provide guidance on SEC and stock exchange compliance.
• Assist with public company disclosure obligations.
• Engage in business and transactional matters.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience at a large law firm.
• Admitted to the state bar of the preferred office location.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• State Bar Admission.

Skills

• Strong understanding of capital markets and securities law.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
