Duties

  • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
  • Keep files organized to ensure accessibility for attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
  • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings, and provide general counsel.
  • Collaborate with clients, senior associates, and staff to efficiently resolve cases.
  • Analyze legal conflicts, advise clients, and negotiate on their behalf.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of the bar exam.
  • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • Licensed Florida attorney in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Spanish speaking a plus.

Education

  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA).

Skills

  • Strong background in criminal defense and family law.
  • Comfortable in a courtroom setting.
  • Willingness to learn and grow the client base.
