A well-established law firm in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Family Law Division. Duties

  • Manage and communicate with clients throughout their legal matters

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents

  • Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings

  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies

  • Assist in estate planning and wills-related matters (if applicable)

  • Maintain detailed case records and timekeeping

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience preferred, but recent bar takers may be considered

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills

  • Motivated self-starter with a professional demeanor

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Florida (or awaiting bar exam results)

  • Strong legal research and drafting capabilities
