As part of a trial team, the Associate Attorney will have the opportunity to work alongside a supervising partner, focusing on high-stakes cases related to auto/commercial auto liability, premises liability, medical professional liability, and product liability. The role involves substantial responsibility in case preparation and trial litigation.

Duties

  • Defend claims as part of a collaborative trial team, focusing on auto, premises, medical, and product liability cases.
  • Participate in the full litigation process, from case preparation to trial.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide sound advice.
  • Engage in depositions, hearings, and trial appearances.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize case defense.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and case files.

Requirements

  • Active Florida bar license in good standing.
  • Experience in insurance defense is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
