Duties

  • Represent clients in family law cases including divorce, child custody, and support matters

  • Handle immigration cases such as deportation defense, visa applications, and naturalization petitions

  • Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy development

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents

  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff

  • Stay current with changes in family and immigration law

Requirements

  • Strong interest in family law and immigration law

  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team setting

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas (required)
