Family Law Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney in Brevard, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will passionately represent clients during challenging times, working within the Family Law Practice Area Group to serve clients in Rutherford County and western North Carolina.

Duties

• Conduct new client consultations.
• Attend court, mediations, and depositions.
• Research and prepare cases for court.
• Participate in case reviews and team trainings.
• Communicate with clients in person, by phone, virtually, and in writing.
• Ensure a high-quality client experience.
• Manage a high volume of cases from start to finish.

Requirements

• Licensed member of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.
• Previous law firm and litigation experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• North Carolina Bar membership.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
