Litigation/White Collar Defense Associate

Job Overview:
A distinguished boutique law firm specializing in litigation, white collar defense, and government investigations is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Southport, Connecticut office. This position is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in litigation or a judicial clerkship, who are eager to develop their skills alongside seasoned litigators and former federal prosecutors. Location:

• Southport, CT

Duties:

• Manage and contribute to a diverse caseload across civil litigation and white collar defense

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft high-quality legal memoranda and court submissions

• Assist in preparing for and participating in hearings, trials, depositions, and court appearances

• Support and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation and investigative matters

• Engage with clients on case strategy, progress, and legal counsel

• Participate in internal case reviews and strategy sessions

Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing litigation or completion of a judicial clerkship

• Demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities across multiple active matters

• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced litigation and defense practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Connecticut Bar or eligibility for prompt admission
