Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of real estate transactional experience. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, leasing, and/or finance. Strong academic credentials and solid foundational training are essential, and admission to the California Bar is strongly preferred.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to real estate transactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, leases, and financing documents.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and conditions of real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on real estate matters.
  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, negotiations, and disputes.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of real estate transactional experience.
  • Significant experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, leasing, and/or finance.
  • Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Solid foundational training in real estate law.
  • Admission to the California Bar is strongly preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar (strongly preferred).

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to provide sound legal advice and counsel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

The Los Angeles office of this vigorous firm specializes in real estate law, environmental law, and civil litigation.
