Associate Labor and Employment Attorney

A law firm in Omaha, NE, is seeking an Associate Labor and Employment Attorney with 3-7 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws applicable to employers, including those related to protected employee conduct, anti-discrimination, anti-retaliation, accommodations, wage and hour, safety, leaves of absence, and reinstatement rights. The attorney should have experience in defending and litigating lawsuits in federal and state court involving employment-related claims and agency charges or citations. Additionally, they should provide advice and counsel to employers on labor and employment laws and regulations, draft and revise legally compliant policies, handbooks, and other employment-related documents, and conduct or assist clients with internal investigations or audits while providing proactive risk management solutions. Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits in federal and state court involving employment-related claims and agency charges or citations.

Requirements:

Education:
