Civil Litigation/Trial Attorney

Duties:

• Handle cases from start to finish
• Conduct trial preparation and participate in trials as first or second-chair
• Engage in marketing efforts and originate new cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Take and defend depositions
• Communicate effectively with clients of various backgrounds and experience levels
• Excel at handling complex law and motion issues

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the State Bar of California
• 10+ years of litigation experience
• Trial preparation experience
• First or second-chair trial experience
• Strong writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle complex law and motion issues
• Experience taking and defending depositions
