A law firm in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their business and commercial litigation practice areas. The ideal candidate will have exceptional academic performance, excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, and preferably judicial clerkship experience.

 

Duties:

  • Take significant responsibility for pleadings, motions, and briefings on complex matters.
  • Handle e-discovery and fact development proficiently.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Appear in state and federal court on motions and other pre-trial matters.
  • Have trial and arbitration experience.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience.
  • Eligibility for admission or active Colorado license.
  • Exceptional academic performance.
  • Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Preferably, judicial clerkship experience.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Eligibility for admission or active Colorado license.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with e-discovery and fact development.
  • Ability to take and defend depositions.
