Insurance Defense Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney for their office in Boston. The ideal candidate will have admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or a sufficient UBE score for admission to the jurisdictions, as well as courtroom and deposition experience. The Insurance Defense Attorney will be responsible for handling cases related to insurance defense, representing clients in court proceedings and depositions, and providing legal advice and counsel on insurance matters.

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases
• Handle court proceedings and depositions
• Provide legal advice and counsel on insurance matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft legal documents and pleadings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Manage case files and documentation

Requirements:

• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or sufficient UBE score for admission to the jurisdictions
• Courtroom and deposition experience
• 4-10 years of civil litigation experience

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or sufficient UBE score for admission to the jurisdictions
