A law firm in Tampa is seeking a White Collar and Government Investigations Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate must have excellent writing skills, admission to practice in Florida, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and interest and experience in criminal white collar matters and complex civil fraud-related actions.

 

Job Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and writing for criminal white collar matters and civil fraud-related actions.
  • Assist in government investigations and represent clients in related proceedings.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for court filings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members on case strategy and management.
  • Work independently on client matters while also contributing to team efforts.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to practice law in Florida.
  • 2-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Law Review experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Interest and experience in criminal white collar matters and complex civil fraud-related actions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
