Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Glendale, CA is seeking an experienced Employment Law and Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in both employment and personal injury litigation and will be responsible for managing a caseload, handling discovery, preparing for trial, and advocating on behalf of clients.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of 40-60 files at various stages of litigation and trial preparation.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests.
  • Handle law and motion practice, including drafting motions and oppositions.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Represent clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
  • Perform legal research and provide sound legal analysis.
  • Assist in trial preparation and conduct trials when necessary.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in employment and personal injury litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, including discovery, trial preparation, and litigation management.
  • Proven ability to handle a high caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and client relations skills.
  • Ability to advocate effectively in court and during settlement negotiations.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California.

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Client-focused communication style.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Trial experience is a major plus.
