Real Estate Attorney

The Real Estate Attorney will play a crucial role in the law firm, utilizing their extensive experience in Real Estate Law to prepare and review legal documents, negotiate transaction terms, and ensure the legality and client-centricity of real estate transactions. The candidate should exhibit exceptional decision-making, research, and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently, manage legal risk creatively, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate transactions.
• Facilitate the transfer of titles, ensuring legal and binding processes.
• Display influential decision-making in the best interest of the represented client.
• Build and maintain rapport with clients through exceptional interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills.
• Work independently with limited oversight, prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization, including senior management.
• Effectively communicate difficult messages with a can-do attitude.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• 15+ years of experience in Real Estate Law.
• Proven ability to be flexible and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively accomplish organizational goals while managing legal risk.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite; experience with Centerbase is a plus.
