Patent Associate Attorney

Minneapolis office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent associate attorney with 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience. The candidate should have experience with a variety of mechanical and electrical inventions, including experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications directed to medical devices or other mechanical and electrical devices. Must have a bachelor's degree, or higher, in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering, plus significant experience with writing about mechanical/medical device concepts. Must have an active membership in the state Bar and compliance with CLE requirements. Should be registered before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The candidate should have superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Must thrive when using analytical skills to conduct complex and detailed analyses of legal matters. Enjoy communicating with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff is required.
