Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will have at least seven years of experience in insurance coverage, advising and representing insurance companies in various coverage matters and disputes. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing practice on the West Coast.

Duties

  • Advise insurance companies on coverage matters.
  • Represent clients in coverage disputes.
  • Analyze coverage issues and draft opinions.
  • Prepare pleadings and dispositive motions.
  • Conduct discovery in litigation.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Attend court conferences and argue motions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of insurance coverage experience.
  • Experience in drafting coverage opinions and legal documents.
  • Proven track record in litigation and dispute resolution.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
