Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Salt Lake City is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong drafting and organizational skills, possess excellent academic credentials, and have prior experience in an Am Law 100 law firm. This role requires a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and State Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents related to private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on corporate matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional activities.
• Assist in due diligence processes for corporate transactions.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in the development and execution of legal strategies.
• Attend and participate in client meetings, negotiations, and closings.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• State Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• Prior experience in an Am Law 100 law firm.
