Job Overview

An esteemed national law firm is seeking a mid-level associate attorney to join its Real Estate Construction practice group. The role will primarily involve transactional matters relating to real estate development, construction, and finance. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a strong foundation in commercial contracts and a desire to grow within a dynamic legal team servicing a diverse client base.

Location

  • Boise, ID

Duties

  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of real estate and construction-related agreements, including:

    • Sales and lease agreements

    • Management and operations contracts

    • Development and construction contracts

  • Provide legal counsel on commercial real estate transactions and development projects

  • Support clients in project planning, financing, risk management, and compliance

  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on complex transactions

  • Engage in client communications and negotiations to ensure goals are met

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant legal experience in:

    • Real estate

    • Construction

    • Development

    • Finance

  • Strong preference for candidates with a transactional background and experience in drafting and enforcing complex contracts

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (Nevada or Idaho)

Skills

  • Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities

  • Strong understanding of real estate and construction legal frameworks

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously

  • Effective communicator with both legal teams and clients
