Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Detroit is seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of litigation experience, with a preference for trial experience. The role requires strong legal writing skills, proactive engagement, a robust business and entrepreneurial sense, effective communication, and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external clients and counsel. The candidate must also exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills, along with the ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines. Duties:

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare for trials and hearings.
• Manage and handle commercial litigation cases from initiation to resolution.
• Demonstrate a strong business and entrepreneurial sense in legal strategies.
• Proactively engage with clients and counsel, building and maintaining relationships.
• Effectively manage internal and external client relationships.
• Analyze legal issues, solve problems, and provide issue resolution.
• Work collaboratively within a legal team and contribute to a commitment to client service.
• Manage multiple files and meet competing deadlines.

Requirements:
