Duties

• Handle all phases of litigation in medical malpractice and healthcare-related cases

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Manage discovery, attend court appearances, depositions, and mediations

• Communicate with clients, medical professionals, and opposing counsel

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation

• Participate in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including healthcare liability and general casualty defense

Requirements

• 2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil defense or healthcare law

• Demonstrated interest in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines

• Steady and consistent work history preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of New Jersey
