Job Overview

A well-established and rapidly growing personal injury law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join its Cleveland, Ohio office. This role is ideal for a seasoned, results-oriented legal professional who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced litigation environment. The ideal candidate will be assertive, strategic, and capable of managing an active docket across Ohio with minimal supervision.

Location

  • Cleveland, Ohio

Duties

  • Investigate case facts and develop supporting evidence for damages

  • Negotiate all aspects of case settlements, including lien resolution

  • Represent clients and maintain communication throughout the legal process

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and insurance representatives

  • Collaborate with legal teams to achieve firm-wide goals

  • Supervise and support legal staff and paralegals

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in personal injury law (plaintiff or defense)

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio

  • Experience in insurance defense and/or claims handling is highly desirable

  • Comfortable handling a large, dynamic caseload

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar

Skills

  • Superior negotiation and litigation skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Needles case management software is preferred

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
